INSTRUCTIONS & TIPS

Slip your AeroPole sections together and wrap each joint with a spiral of Gaffer’s tape 8-10” / 20-25 cm long. Cluster your balloons and pack them on the AeroPole. To make an arch, two people can lift the ends and slip them onto the base plate pins. IMPORTANT: Always be careful to align the pole to the pin, and the pole will slide on easily. If it binds, do not force it; you risk splitting the end of your pole.

Always use sufficient weight on your AeroPole bases to ensure the safety of people and property around your installation.

Be aware of overhead power lines or anything else that could create a safety issue. • When building an arch over 35’ or a 20’ column, you can slip an additional 5’/ 1.5m length of ¾” electrical conduit (EMT) on to the AeroPole end that attaches to each base plate. Then cover in balloons. Doing this gives you added stiffness at the base allowing you to make taller and straighter décor. Make sure the inside edge of the EMT is not sharp.

For extra security outdoors, always tie the AeroPole to its base plate using Dacron or monofilament line.

We recommend Gaffer’s tape on the AeroPole joints when necessary. (Gaffer’s tape leaves no adhesive residue when removed)

Do not attach AeroPole by slipping it inside of another tube or pipe. It is designed to be used only with an internal connector pin.

When installing or removing the AeroPole from the steel base pin do it in a straight fashion so as to not damage the pole with lateral force.
